Yes a black girl with MS. I’ve never been one to do things like everyone else. NEVER. So of course this journey is no different.

I was the weird kid my mom said friends kids and I were same age doing regular things. But was I NO, nope not at all. I graduated from grad school. Mom says hopefully you will be a little more polished. What I’m clean and shiny. Oh you mean the Master of Social Work? Haha haha. Then I met a great Psychiatrist, Dr Carl C. Bell, I worked for his agency 12 years. We often spoke professionally and personally I once told him I was hesitant of being me in sessions. I’ll never forget he told me be you. Your personality is priceless and no one can duplicate your style, “your you”.
